India’s 12th Gold In Common Wealth Games 2018

      Indian shooter Shreyasi Singh gave the country it’s 12th gold of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Women’s Double Trap event. This is the fourth Gold medal for India in the sport of shooting. Already  Manubhakar,  Jitu Rai, Heena Sidhu won gold in shooting. Shreyasi win on her opponent Emma Cox second spot and become the champion herself.This is the third Commonwealth Games appearance for Shreyasi Singh, who has represented India in both the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi as well as the 2014 Games in Glasgow. 
            Shreyasi had also won a bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon in the double trap team event, she came second at the double trap event at the 2017 Commonwealth Shooting Championships. She failed to win medals in 2010 CWG. But this time she wons gold for country.
          Now  the country’s overall tally to 12 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals.
